Weekend Results

Friday night May 1st we had our 1st trophy bike race, which was won by T.J. Ryererson from Knoxville Ia. on his Harley. It was good to see several new riders at the track most of them on Harleys. We will have this class every Friday as long as we have at least 3 entries.

Saturday was our 1st points race and the weather could not have been better! Our 1st Reaction Time Contest winner of $200 cash was Pro ET racer Rob Hatfield with an awesome .0002. The winner of the Jr. Dragster R.T.C. recieving a $50 savings bond (thanks to our starter Tim Brewer) was Chris Labs from Center Point Ia. with a .0076 reaction time. The 1st Jr Dragster winner of 2009 was Taylor Grimm of Des Moines over a red lighting Hailie Main also from Des Moines. Jr Dragster consi was won by Morgan Walsh over Emilee Novak both from Fairfax Ia. Morgan then picked up the 1st savings bond in our Sugar Grove Custom Cars Jr Challenge run off of the 2 jr winners with a hole shot win over Taylor Grimm. Tony Mahaffey from Agency Ia. won Pure Street over Jesse Bronson from Columbia Ia. in a heads up final. Sportsman was won by the defending points champion Mike Wymore from Oskaloosa over Tracy Donald from Colfax Ia. Local Eddyville racer Gary Shearer won Super Pro with his dragster over the Chevy Nova of George Garwood from Norwalk Ia. A pair of racers from Indianola Ia. met in the final of Pro ET with Paul Songayllo defeating James Knudson with a great .0026 reaction time.

Next week Saturday May 9 we will have all of our regular classes plus our 1st race for the Eddyville Stick Shift class.
