JUNIOR HALLOWEEN NATIONALS MOVED SAT & SUN, OCT 24 & 25

FORECAST OF COLD TEMPS & SNOW SHOWERS FORCES MOVE

With a forecasted high temperature of 45 degrees and morning snow showers both days, the decision has been made to postpone the Junior Halloween Nationals originally scheduled for this weekend (Oct 10 & 11) to Saturday and Sunday, Oct 24 & 25.

"Having owned a Junior Dragster with both of my kids I know how difficult it is to get them to run properly in temps under 50 degrees, said Gerald Kramer, The weather would also put a downer on the fun activities scheduled" he mentioned. "The new event date, Sat & Sun, Oct 24 & 25 is likely to have much better weather conditions as we have not had our typical late Fall warm blast yet"

All race classes will remain the same and the new date will really put a twist on the Halloween portion of the event, as it lands closer to the actual date. In addition, there appears to be an opportunity to add an Outlaw Class on the new date as well. Additional information will be forthcoming.
